Hello everyone! Hard to believe we’re already more than halfway through January! Hoping you’ve all had a wonderful start to a new, fresh year and enjoyed some quality time with family and friends over the past few weeks … and that 2017 has already been good to you 🙂
I’ve just been able to get back to writing and sharing. Everyone’s no doubt back to dealing with life’s daily grind. There had been a lot of things on the go, projects and deadlines and all the stresses that go along with everything. But who hasn’t? I was hoping to be able to keep up with my blog and sharing ideas, recipes and health information with everyone during the past couple of months. But unfortunately couldn’t and apologize for that. Now that main projects have been completed, I will do my best to keep the momentum of staying online with you.
One project that has been completed is opening my boutique. There were a lot of unexpected things pop up during the process. You never know what unexpected issues come up and have to be taken care of and will always cause setbacks and unexpectedly delays. Oh the effort to try to roll with the punches and TRY to get through it all with a smile on your face LOL! But I am happy to say it is done and love the outcome. Beautiful health and wellness, beauty and care products are carried in the boutique (for both men and women) … Himalayan salt lamps and salt line, organic diffuser oils and beautiful wood and glass diffusers, to name a few, and much much more. I will share more product info with you on a regular basis.
So now that we’ve caught up with a couple of happenings, I hope that everyone has had a chance to catch their breaths during busy holiday seasons and winter school breaks, travelling times, and end of year wind down. It seems this year took a toll on many of us on all levels — mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually. Our mettle has been tested no doubt. But the human mind and human soul are nothing short of resilience and strength. Those that could have crumbled under the pressures and difficulties they’ve encountered kept on rising and staying strong. My admiration and hats off.
I would like to share some encouraging thoughts. Honestly, it’s something I need for myself, as well. We are HUMAN. We all need constant reminders and pick-me-ups because no one is perfect and, despite the fact that many of us are in fields of work to help others, uplift them, advise them, guide them, we too need the encouragement to also carry on and fill ourselves up too.
Truly, the only difference between 2016 and 2017 is just one day. Let’s not let our desire for change or goals just be simply emotional. That will not always last. By this time of the month, many have given up on their resolutions. Why? Because we have the best of intentions and go full steam ahead and then … run out of steam or drive. Instead of material or superficial goals, let’s first be grateful that we made it to this day despite all the challenges, mistakes and setbacks each of us have had to overcome. If we can remember this, we can get ourselves back up on the saddle and pick up where we left off with our goals and move forward.
No matter how many times we fall let’s not give up. Life, no matter what, always has its highs and lows. Sometimes the lows are more than the highs. Yes, the struggle is real. We need to remember that.
Soul search, dig deeper and focus on who and what really, truly matter in life. “Things” will come and go but what matters to your soul stays with you forever. It’s what gives you the drive to get up in the morning with a warm smile on your face. It’s what will give you cozy calm at the end of the day and when it’s time to put your head on your pillow.
May each of you always have inner joy and happiness with a deep sense of peace and calm as we continue to move into 2017 and make it your lifelong goal. Treasure your life and those who make it all worthwhile.
Best and happy wishes for wonderful health and peace for all.
Best in health,
Fadia
PS: I’d love to hear your thoughts and expressions. Let’s share with each other. How did your year go? What are your goals for this year? What’s working for you to keep encouraged?
